David J. Aldrich, President and Chief Executive Officer
David J. Aldrich assumed the position of President and CEO in June 2002, when Skyworks was created from the merger of Alpha Industries and Conexant Systems’ wireless business. He had served as President and CEO of Alpha Industries since April 2000. Aldrich joined Alpha Industries in 1995 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he held senior-management positions at Adams-Russell and M/A-COM. Aldrich received a bachelor’s of arts in political science from Providence College in 1979 and a master’s in business administration from the University of Rhode Island in 1981. In 2004, he was named Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year in the Semiconductor category. Aldrich is a board member of Belden.
