Broadband Linear Power Amplifier Delivers +39 dBm OIP3

Lisa Maliniak  |  ED Online ID #19004 |  May 19, 2008

A new QFN packaged GaAs MMIC linear power amplifier from Mimix Broadband features +39 dBm OIP3 and 26 dB small-signal gain. The XP1035-QH power amplifier covers the 5.9-to 9.5-GHz range and includes an integrated temperature-compensated on-chip power detector.

The amplifier is housed in an RoHS-compliant fully molded 4 x 4 mm QFN package. On-chip ESD protection structures and DC bypass capacitors simplify implementation and volume assembly. The XP1035-QH is ideal for wireless communications systems such as point-to-point radio, LMDS, SATCOM, and VSAT applications.

Mimix performed 100% RF testing on the XP1035-QH. Samples and production quantities are available today from stock. Technical support is also available from the company’s applications engineers. The datasheet and additional product information can be found at www.mimixbroadband.com.
