DLVA Scours 7 To 18 GHz

Jan. 31, 2014
This DLVA offers a wide dynamic range from 7 to 18 GHz.

Model GMDA-D1003 is a detector log video amplifier (DLVA) for use from 7 to 18 GHz. It can detect signals across a level range from -70 to +5 dBm, with tangential signal sensitivity (TSS) of -75 dBm. The amplifier features a log slope of 25 mV/dB and nominal video bandwidth of 12 MHz. Based on GaAs technology, it achieves 30-ns maximum video rise time with 1-μs maximum recovery time and 30-ns maximum throughput time. The DLVA, which handles temperatures from -25 to +85°C, measures 2.9 × 3.0 × 0.5 in. It draws a maximum of 300 mA current at +12 VDC and 150 mA at -12 VDC.
