USB Switches Control 5 GHz

A new line of Lab Brick Universal-Serial-Bus (USB) RF/microwave switches from Vaunix includes both single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) and single-pole, four-throw (SP4T) switch models with 10-W CW power-handling capability.

A new line of Lab Brick Universal-Serial-Bus (USB) RF/microwave switches from Vaunix includes both single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) and single-pole, four-throw (SP4T) switch models with 10-W CW power-handling capability. Controlled and operated by a personal computer and software via a USB connection, the switches cover 100 MHz to 5 GHz with low loss and simple programmability. The model LSW-502PDT SPDT switch features 70-dB isolation between ports while the SP4T model LSW-502P4T boasts 60-dB isolation between ports. The rugged switches include manual internal and external switch control capability. They are also easy to control via an included graphical-user-interface (GUI) program or through external control inputs. They are ideal for automatic-test-equipment (ATE) applications and will not overload a measurement budget, with prices starting at only $399 for the SPDT unit.
