Amplifier Boosts 71 To 76 GHz

July 11, 2012

Model HHPAE-459 is a millimeter-wave power amplifier designed for use from 71 to 76 GHz. It provides small-signal gain of 29 dB over that frequency range, with +18-dBm output power at 1-dB compression. Based on monolithic-microwave-integrated-circuit (MMIC) technology, the amplifier operates from a single +6.5-VDC bias supply with an internal voltage regulator and bias sequencer. The amplifier is ideal for transmitters in E-band radio communications systems.
