Endwave Corporation has released a line of low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) for millimeter-wave applications from 26 to 40 GHz. The LNAs, which can be used to boost front-end receiver sensitivity in millimeter-wave systems, offer noise figures as low as 3 dB with gain ranging from 27 to 37 dB. The gain flatness is within 3 dB. The maximum input/output VSWR is 2.50:1. The amplifiers provide +10 dBm output power at 1-dB compression and draw 275 mA current from a +15-VDC supply.
