The MHP150 through MHP600 Series of high-density power resistors is now offered in power ratings ranging from 150W to 600W. With their wide range of power ratings, these SOT-227 resistors lend themselves to high-voltage circuits in high-frequency amplifiers, pulse generators, power-supply snubbers, and other applications.

In addition to a high dielectric withstanding voltage rating of up to 4 kV AC, the resistors also feature extremely low thermal resistance, high impulse power capability, superior vibration handling, and an extremely low series inductance of less than 15nH.

The UL94V0-approved MHP150 to MHP600 Series resistors come in values from 0.1 ohms to 1 kohm, with tolerances available from 1% to 5%. They feature power ratings of 150 W, 200 W, 250 W, 300 W, 550 W and 600 W and TCRs of 100ppm/C when R ≥ 1.0 ohm, and 250ppm/C when R ≤ 1.0 ohm. Operating temperature range is -55C to +120C. Devices are available for special order outside these specifications to meet customer requirements.
