Capacitor Boasts 40-GHz Bandwidth

The 550L Ultra-Broadband Capacitor from American Technical Ceramics (ATC) lives up to its name with a bandwidth of 16 kHz to past 40 GHz. Supplied in an EIA 0402 case size, it is rated for 100 nF capacitance. The capacitor features RoHS-compliant terminations and can be supplied with gold terminations. It is ideal for broadband RF/microwave circuit, optical communications, and measurement applications. The capacitor features one-piece construction, insertion loss of less than 0.5 dB, and extremely flat frequency response. It is orientation insensitive for ease of mounting and assembly.
