Raytheon Co.Will provide Rock County, WI with a 20- site conventional P25 digital land-mobile-radio (LMR) system. This systemthe county's firstwill provide communications across public-safety and municipal services. Raytheon has also been awarded a $32.2-million contract for the US Navy's Global Positioning System-based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Service program.
ANADIGICS
Is shipping production volumes of its HELP4 Long Term Evolution (LTE) power amplifiers (PAs) to LG Electronics. The HELP4 is being used to power Verizon Wireless' Revolution by LG VS910 smartphones.
Harris Corp.
Has received a $50-million work order from the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). Per the agreement, Harris will deliver public-safety radios, technology, and services for the Oregon State Radio Project, which will support the mission-critical communications needs of ODOT and the Oregon State Police. This is the first work order under a larger master pricing agreement.
Airspan Networks
Has selected Azimuth Systems' ACE MX channel emulator. Airspan will use the emulator for transmit and receive testing of its Air4G family of fourth-generation (4G) broadband-wireless-infrastructure products.
u-bloxThe company's UBX-G6010-ST GPS chip has been chosen for Samsung's line of SEN car-navigation devices. Among these is the SEN-410, a multimedia navigator with a 3D display and high-definition, 7-inch touchscreen.
