Verizon Enterprise SolutionsAs part of a General Dynamics-led team, the company has been awarded two contracts to develop and implement fixed and mobile cloud-computing capacity for the US Army. The five-year, multiple-award contracts have a combined potential value of $249.8 million to all awardees.

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC)Has been awarded a task order valued at approximately $36 million by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic. The order is for a full range of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) engineering and integration services associated with tactical vehicles.

Raytheon Co.Has been selected to provide mission-readiness support services to US Pacific Command (USPACOM) and its directorates. The five-year, multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) has a total potential value of $33 million. The BPA focuses on mission-aligned support services, including analytical support, military exercise facilitation services, and logistics and sustainment support. In addition, the company has received a $106.4-million modification to a previously awarded contract from the US Navy. The modification is for the production of Aegis-related equipment, including the AN/SPY-1(D)V radar transmitter and the MK99 Mod 14 Fire Control System.

Jacobs Engineering GroupHas received a contract to provide information technology, geospatial engineering, and software engineering services in support of the Institute for Information Technology Applications (IITA) program at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). This five-year blanket purchase agreement has an estimated value of up to $50 million.

Space Systems/Loral (SS/L)Has been awarded a $3 million contract by NASA's Space Technology Program. SS/L will host a space-laser-communications-relay demonstration terminal payload aboard one of its commercial satellites, scheduled to launch in 2016. The agreement marks the first time NASA has contracted to fly a payload on an American-manufactured commercial communications satellite.

SalientHas been awarded a Global Command Terrestrial Communications (GCTC) support contract. Per the agreement, Salient will support the long-haul telecommunications needs of the Program Manager Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (PM DCATS).

General DynamicsHas been awarded a contract by the US Army's Network Enterprise Technology Command to support the 160th Signal Brigade. General Dynamics will carry out administrative, information assurance, cybersecurity, and operations functions, among others. The five-year contract has a potential value of $64.5 million if all options are exercised. In addition, the company's Electric Boat subsidiary has been awarded a $78-million contract by the US Navy to buy long-lead-time material for the Virginia-class submarine SSN-792.
