Crystek Displays Lowpass Filters

Crystek, best known for its low-noise oscillators, is making noise at the 2010 IMS with a new line of seventh-order low-pass filters, the CLPFL series. The line includes models with passbands from DC to 100 MHz through DC to 500 MHz. The model CLPFL-100, for example, has a passband of DC to 100 MHz with passband insertion loss of only 0.38 dB at 30 MHz and 0.70 dB at 60 MHz. The out-of-band rejection is 40 dB at 250 MHz, rising to 60 dB at 1 GHz and 80 dB at 2.5 GHz. The filters, which are rated for input power levels to +36 dBm (4 W), are rated for operating temperatures from -40 to +85C. The CLPFL-100 measures 1.504 x 0.435 in. and, like the other members of the CLPFL series, is supplied with SMA connectors. The filters are ideal for measurement and general-purpose applications.
