DC Blocks Handle 50 W

The HR series of coaxial DC blocks from Microlab can handle average input power levels to 50 W at frequencies from 100 to 9500 MHz. Also rated for 1 kW peak power, the DC blocks feature maximum insertion loss of 0.2 dB with a maximum voltage rating of 1 kV. Supplied with Type N male and female connectors, the DC blocks consist of a length of coaxial line with a distributed series capacitor in either or both the center conductor and outer conductor to block the flow of DC and low frequencies while passing RF and microwave frequencies with negligible loss.
