A line of broadband stripline directional couplers from Krytar includes six models covering frequency ranges of 300 MHz to 8 GHz, 300 MHz to 12.4 GHz, and 300 MHz to 18 GHz. Units are available with either 10- or 30-dB coupling. They all achieve coupling flatness of 1.0 dB or better. The coupling sensitivity for all models is 1.2 dB while the minimum directivity is 20 dB through 8 GHz, 15 dB through 12.4 GHz, and better than 12 dB through 18 GHz. The maximum insertion loss is 1.6 dB for all models, while the maximum VSWR is 1.40:1 for all models. All of the couplers handle 20 W average power and 3 kW peak power. They measure 6.0 x 0.73 x 0.50 in. with SMA female connectors standard and Type N female connectors available as an option.
