A new trio of directional detectors from Krytar covers a total frequency range of 2 to 50 GHz with 2.4-mm coaxial connectors. The models 202050010, 202050013, and 202050016 provide frequency sensitivity of +/-3.3 dB with respect to detected outputs over that full frequency range, with SMA female, BNC female, and SMA male connectors, respectively, at the detected output port and insertion loss of less than 2.0, 1.8, and 1.7 dB, respectively. The directivity for all models is better than 13 dB through 26.5 GHz and better than 10 dB through 50 GHz. The maximum VSWR at any port is 1.50:1 through 26.5 GHz and 1.80:1 through 50 GHz. The models 202050010, 202050013, and 202050016 are rated for power levels of 1, 2, and 4 W, respectively, with low-level sensitivity of better than 40, 20, and 10 uV/uW. The three directional detectors are designed for full-rated performance over operating temperatures from -54 to +85 degrees C, and can be supplied to military specifications.
