Duplexer Screens LTE Base Stations

A base-station duplexer has been developed by Trilithic for Long Term Evolution (LTE) Band 13 applications. The unit, based on high-quality-factor (high-Q) cavities to provide a pseudo-elliptic response, achieves passband insertion loss of only 1.25 dB while providing at least 100-dB isolation between transmit and receive ports. The minimum isolation is 80 dB through 2800 MHz. The duplexer is designed to handle 100 W CW power at temperatures from 0 to +70 deg. C.
