Admittedly, we cannot check the veracity of everything that passes through our pages, including Hal Walker's "Sidebands Are Not Necessary" (August 2011). Although the concept of ultranarrowband (UNB) communications would seem counterintuitive, our publishing the article has inspired much debate and some strong reactions from readers.
