Giga-tronics Hits 30-Year Mark

Test-equipment supplier Giga-tronics has announced reaching 30 years of service to the RF/microwave industry. Founded in 1980, the firm established itself with high-quality signal generators largely for military applications. It grew with the development of other product lines, such as scalar network analyzers (SNAs) and power meters, and continues to expand its capabilities, with the recent addition of power amplifiers. It has also grown through acquisition, adding switching products from ASCOR in the 1990s and YIG-tunable filters and oscillators from Microsource. Giga-tronics' Chief Executive Officer, John Regazzi, explains: "Over the past 30 years, our company has evolved as dramatically as our industry, but as always Giga-tronics remains committed to delivering the highest value products and services available."
