The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) and the China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the purpose of establishing a mutually agreeable framework of cooperation. The alliance between the GSA and CSIA is committed to the ongoing support of one another's initiatives and activities in a variety of areas, including exchanging industry data and research information as well as promoting exhibitions and seminars.

As Jodi Shelton, co-founder and executive director of GSA, explains: "GSA has continued to focus on the Asian region and has successfully collaborated with CSIA on several initiatives and projects since 2003. The MOU strengthens the existing relationship between the two organizations, and will undoubtedly broaden and enhance value and resources to their members."
