Taitien Electronics has announced its TX series of temperature-compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs), designed specifically for Global Positioning System (GPS) applications, but also useful for cellular communications, WLAN, and WiMAX applications. The compact TCXOs, which are available in a range of frequencies from 10 to 40 MHz, including the popular GPS frequencies of 16.367667, 16.368, 16.369, 23.104, 24.5535, and 26 MHz, feature low phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz offset 100 Hz from the carrier. The frequency stability is 0.5 PPM at operating temperatures from -30 to +85C. The TCXOs are housed in a miniature ceramic SMD package measuring 3.2 x 2.5 x 0.9 mm. Samples are available upon request.
