Huettner Joins Nuvotronics Team

Steve Huettner has joined Nuvotronics as Senior Member of Technical Staff following a 30-year career at a top defense contractor. Spanning millimeterwave MMIC designs in GaAs, GaN, and SiGe; interconnects and integration; T/R modules; and advanced sensor designs, Huettner's expertise aligns well with Nuvotronics' roadmap toward becoming a preferred sensor solutions provider for defense systems using PolyStrata air micro-coax.

"This jump 30 dB down the food chain was necessary to stay relevant as a microwave innovator, as top-tier contractors move toward a smart-buyer' business model," says Huettner. "I am pleased to add my microwave mojo' to this outstanding team, and I am already working to integrate GaN MMIC devices with air-coax transmission lines in order to claim new performance benchmarks for Nuvotronics." A Huettnerpenned article, "PolyStrata Survives Operating Vibration," will appear in next month's issue of Microwaves & RF.
