AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES, INC.MORAY RUMNEY, the Lead Technologist specializing in Long Term Evolution (LTE) at Agilent, won the Informa LTE North America 2010 award for individual contribution to LTE development. Rumney's work is centered on radio standardization at 3GPP RAN WG4 and more recently at the LTE/SAE Trial Initiative, where he helped to develop LTE field trial tests.

RAYTHEON CO.Delivered its 500th ALR- 67(V)3 digital radar warning receiver to the US Navy. This receiver is installed on all frontline, carrier-based F/A-18E/F tactical aircraft.

ARMMSDR. RICHARD HOPPER received the Steve Evans-Pughe Prize for best speaker for his presentation on temperature measurements of microwave amplifier devices at the November 2010 ARMMS conference in Corby, UK.

LOCKHEAD MARTINAnnounced that its A2100 commercial communications satellite fleet has accumulated 300 years of successful in-orbit operations. The A2100 series currently consists of 37 commercial communication satellites featuring 1400 transponders. BSAT-3b, the most recent A2100 spacecraft, was launched Oct. 28, 2010 for the Broadcasting Satellite System Corp. (B-SAT) of Japan.
