CLEVELAND, OH—Keithley Instruments, Inc. announced that it has received the Texas Instruments (TI) 2006 Supplier Excellence Award. The annual award honors firms whose dedication and commitment in supplying products and services meet TI's high standards for excellence. Recipients are chosen for their exemplary performance in the areas of cost, environmental responsibility, technology, responsiveness, assurance of supply, and quality. TI's management team from the WPL-Assembly and Test Capital equipment business group presented the award to Keithley personnel.

SANTA CLARA, CA—Agilent Technologies, Inc. announced a record opening month for its Agilent 5000 Series digital storage oscilloscopes (DSOs). The 5000 Series tripled the company's previous record of oscilloscope orders and shipments.

SAN DIEGO, CA—Pulse, a Technitrol Co., a firm involved in electronic-component and subassembly design and manufacturing, announced that its Pulse Suzhou, China plant has received two awards, the "2006 SND Top 10 Excellent Unit in Labor & HR Field" and the "2006 SND Labor and Social Security Credit Model Unit." The awards were presented by the Suzhou New District (SND) government to Pulse for its excellence in human resources and the HR management at its Suzhou plant. Pulse was selected from more than 700 international companies as one of the top ten.

NORWOOD, MA—Analog Devices, Inc. has named two of the company's most accomplished engineers, Drs. Colin Lyden and Zoran Zvonar, to the distinguished position of ADI Fellow. Lyden and Zvonar were recognized during ADI's 2007 General Technical Conference, an internal event which attracted approximately 1900 ADI engineers from the company's design sites worldwide.

SAN DIEGO, CA—Staccato Communications announced that its Ripcord™ product family has earned official FCC certification.

PISCATAWAY, NJ—The IEEE has named Alberto Moreira as the recipient of its 2007 Kiyo Tomiyasy Award, for the development of synthetic aperture radar concepts. His work contributed to the design of high-resolution airborne and spaceborne imaging radar systems with enhanced capabilities for environmental, disaster monitoring, and security applications. The award was presented in Barcelona, Spain on July 25th.
