Linear Amplifier Covers 20 To 2500 MHz

Miltary applications demand extreme ruggedness from their components. A solid-state, Class AB linear amplifier promises to meet these tough requirements while delivering solid performance. In a single module, the model BME27258-50 operates over the full 20-to-2500-MHz frequency range. The amplifier’s typical output power at 1-dB compression is 40 W with a saturated output power of 50 W. Its gain is 64 dB ±4.0 dB. The input VSWR is 2:1 maximum. The amplifier’s harmonic rejection is –15 dBc while spurious levels are –60 dBc. The model BME27258-50 requires a voltage supply of +28 VDC. The RF input and output connectors are type SMA female. The amplifier is designed to operate up to 30,000 feetin temperatures ranging from –40°C to+50°C. Weighing just 5 lbs., it measures 6.4 X 6.7 X 1.4 in.
