Model PSA-545+ is an E-HEMT monolithic-microwave-integrated-circuit (MMIC) low-noise amplifier (LNA) from Mini-Circuits designed for applications from 50 MHz to 4 GHz. If offers 0.8 dB noise figure with +20 dBm output power at 1-dB compression. The small-signal gain is typically 19.8 dB at 1 GHz and 10.4 dB at 4 GHz. The amplifier, which typically draws 80 mA from a single +3-VDC supply, delivers third-order intercept point of +36 dBm. It can handle input power levels to +15 dBm without an external limiter. The MMIC amplifier is supplied in an SOT-363 package and is internally matched to 50 Ohms. It is ideal for cellular, LTE, and WiMAX receive applications and is priced at $1.45 each in 50 qty.
