Microlab/FXR Adds Broadband Coupler Series

Microlab/FXR, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wireless Telecom Group, Inc., has unveiled a broadband directional coupler, the CK-70 series, that uses a multisection airline design to cover the full range from 380 to 2700 MHz. Suitable for cellular, PCS, and UMTS applications, the directional coupler suffers less than 0.1 dB insertion loss and handles 200 W of throughline power. The coupler features low passive intermodulation (PIM) distortion for high-performance communications systems. Models can be specified in three-port versions with coupling values of 6, 10, and 15 dB as well as in four-port versions.
