A line of thin-film 0805-sized attenuators is now available from International Manufacturing Services (IMS) packaged face-down in tape for continuous mounting with pick and place machinery. Face down mounting of these attenuators drastically reduces reflection and helps to ensure optimal performance to 20 GHz depending on the application. The attenuators are available with values from 0 to 10 dB. They are supplied with RoHS-compliant nickel barrier layer terminals with a 100-percent matte tin finish for excellent solderability.
