MMIC Amp Drives 6 To 18 GHz

Model MMA-061827 from MWT is a broadband GaAs monolithic-microwave-integrated-circuit (MMIC) amplifier with 8 dB typical small-signal gain from 6 to 18 GHz. It provides +27 dBm minimum output power at 1-dB compression with typical output power of +29 dBm. The typical noise figure is 5.5 dB while the saturated output power is +30 dBm (1 W). The amplifier exhibits typical input/output return loss of 10 dB (typical VSWR of better than 1.50:1). It is ideal for broadband applications in electronic-warfare (EW) systems. It draws 380 mA current from a +8-VDC drain-source voltage. It is rated for a mean time to failure of more than 100 years at an ambient temperature of +85C.
