TCXO Offers Sine-Wave Output To 1 GHz

To serve wideband analog-to-digital-converter (ADC) and direct-digital-synthesis (DDS) architectures, the VFTX210 temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) provides a sine-wave output frequency to 1.0 GHz with jitter under 0.3 ps. The Valpey Fisher TCXO boasts temperature stability under 1.0 ppm over a temperature range of -40 to + 85C. Operating with a +3.3-V power supply, the device typically consumes 0.24 W. It offers phase noise of -121 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz offset from the carrier. The TCXO contains an internal voltage regulator for improved stability and noise performance. It also is suitable for radar systems, point-to-point radios, and wireless communication systems. The VFTX210 is available in a 20.0-x-20.0-mm surface-mount package.
