Test Software Simplifies 3GPP LTE Analysis

Anritsu Company has released three new software packages for its MS269xA Signal Analyzer Series for simplified evaluation of 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless system uplink and downlink signals. The software tools, which include the MX269020A LTE Downlink Measurement Software, MX269021A LTE Uplink Measurement Software, and MX269908A LTE IQproducer(TM), leverage the signal analyzers' modulation accuracy and frequency coverage of 50 Hz to 6 GHz. The tools help ensure compliance of LTE devices for manufacturers deploying next-generation mobile-telephone systems. The MX269020A and MX269021A software tools help measure the transmit characteristics of 3GPP LTE frequency-division-duplex (FDD) signals. The MX269908A package creates 3GPP LTE-compliant waveform patterns that can then be generated as RF signals from the MS269xA's optional signal generator for testing RF receiver characteristics, as well as to perform transmitter and receiver evaluations.
