Tiny TCXO Tracks Telecommunications Needs

Tellurian Technologies, Inc. has introduced its model TT-VT6000 temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO), which the company claims to be housed in the smallest TCXO package in the industry. Aimed at telecommunications applications, the tiny RoHS-compliant TCXO measures just 2.0 x 2.5 x 1.0 mm and is available at frequencies from 10 to 40 MHz. It delivers tight stability of +/-0.5 PPM at temperatures from 0 to -55C and operates on supply voltages as low as +2.5 VDC with low current consumption of 2 mA. The TCXO is suitable for a wide range of applications including mobile wireless communications, short-range communications, SONET/SDH/DEWM/ATM, 1G/2G/4G/10G fiber channel, 1G/10G gigabit Ethernet, digital video, phase-locked loops (PLLs), and test equipment.
