John Croteau, President and CEO John Croteau is MACOM's President & Chief Executive Officer and director. John has nearly 30 years of global semiconductor experience in various operational and management positions. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President & General Manager of the High Performance RF Business of NXP Semiconductors N.V. John also served as Senior Vice President & general manager of NXP’s Power & Lighting business line. Prior to joining NXP, he held numerous business management positions at Analog Devices, Inc., including serving as general manager for the company’s Convergent Platforms & Services Group, product line director for the Integrated Audio Group and marketing director for the Computer Segment. John holds a B.S., Engineering Science and Mechanics, from Penn State University. Year company was formed: MACOM began as Microwave Associates, founded in August of 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts. Company History: M/A-COM Tech opportunistically acquired Nitronex and Mindspeed Technologies in recent years to enhance engineering capabilities.
