TeraVicta Ships 26.5-GHz MEMS Switch

TeraVicta Technologies announced its new TT1244 26.5-GHz single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) switch. Ideal for test equipment, radar, and communications systems applications, the switch features third-order intercept point of better than +75 dBm. The insertion loss is 0.1 dB at 10 MHz, 0.4 dB at 12 GHz, 0.7 dB at 18 GHz, and 1.8 dB at 26.5 GHz. The isolation between ports is 55 dB at 10 MHz, 30 dB at 12 GHz, 20 dB at 18 GHz, and 20 dB at 26.5 GHz. The MEMS switch sells for $92 each in small quantities and $49 each in quantities of 1000. It can also be supplied as part of the TT1244AD-EB switch evaluation board, available for $995 each. The MEMS switch is supplied in a standard surface-mount micro-BGA chip-scale package.
