Amplifier Powers 50 W to 6 GHz
Model BME2969-50 is a solid-state, Class AB amplifier based on gallium-nitride (GaN) active-device technology. It delivers 50-W output power from 2 to 6 GHz with 54-dB gain and ±3-dB gain flatness. Harmonics are held to –13 dBc. The amplifier runs on bias of 18 to 36 Vdc. It is screened for use to altitudes to 30,000 feet and for shock and vibration per MIL-STD-810F. Options include an RS-232 interface, RF detectors, and an integrated transmit/receive (T/R) switch. It measures 7.5 × 3.0 × 1.5 in. excluding connectors and weighs 3 lb.
