A new pair of two-stage, ultra-low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) promises to deliver highly linear results for high-end-receiver applications. The LNAs offer performance under 0.7 dB with an output third-order intercept point of +35 dBm. The SKY65037-360LF operates from 0.7 to 1.2 GHz while the SKY65040-360LF operates from 1.5 to 2.4 GHz. Both parts have the flexibility of external tuning. As a result, the designer can set gain to 25 dB and adjust the supply current from 30 to 100 mA. Fabricated using the company's advanced pHEMT process, the amplifiers target GPS systems, satellite digital-audio-radio services, WCDMA and LTE infrastructure platforms, and ISM base stations, repeaters, and access points. The 2-x-2-mm quad flat no-lead (QFN) devices are available now.
