Iridium Satellite LLCTogether with Boeing, Iridium has made two advancements in the High Integrity Global Positioning System (GPS) used by the US Naval Research Laboratory. An Enhanced Narrowband (EN) software change has been completed for computers on Iridium satellites, thereby allowing second-generation GPS-aiding signals to be accessible on the whole Iridium constellation. Both Iridium and Boeing plan to finish the ENB software upgrade on time and within its budget. They will show a system-level demonstration later this year.
