TAOS
Has completed a strategic transition with austriamicrosystems AG to combine the two companies. In the transaction, austriamicrosystems acquired 100% of TAOS shares, valued at approximately $320 million. TAOS shareholders received cash and stock for their stake in the combined new company, which is estimated to be 20%.

In addition, the company is collaborating with Esri to provide online geospatial applications and services.
Optimum Communications Services (OCS)Has been granted US Patent #7,986,713. Targeting communications networks, this patent enables the bandwidth of physical-layer connections to be continuously optimized based on real-time data-traffic load variations.
D.L.S. Conformity Assessment
Has been accepted into Underwriters Laboratories' Third Party Test Data Program. This will allow D.L.S. to test directly to UL standards for ITE, audio/video, medical devices and equipment, and laboratory test and measurement equipment for formal listing.
