A line of coaxial switches from Radiall features low levels of passive intermodulation (PIM) for use in different systems and test applications. These switches, which are available with Type-N connectors for use to 12.4 GHz and SMA connectors for use to 18 GHz, can be specified in a variety of configurations, including in single-pole, double-throw (SPDT), double-pole, double-throw (DPDT), single-pole, four-throw (SP4T), and single-pole, six-throw (SP6T) versions. The switches feature long life cycles, with 2 million actuations guaranteed. Type-N Models achieve 60-dB isolation at 12.4 GHz, with maximum VSWR of 1.50:1 and maximum insertion loss of 0.5 dB at 12.4 GHz. SMA Models provide 60-dB isolation at 18.0 GHz, with maximum VSWR of 1.50:1 and maximum insertion loss of 0.5 dB at 18.0 GHz.
