Fujitsu Ltd., Fujitsu Microelectronics of America, and Jazz Semiconductor have announced that they will work together to manufacture system-on-chip (SoC) products based on RFCMOS devices. The companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding to combine the RF and mixed- signal expertise from Jazz Semiconductor with the leading-edge 65- and 90-nm semiconductor manufacturing technology from Fujitsu for the benefit of their customers. The teamwork allows Fujitsu to offer the precise RF models and design kits from Jazz using Fujitsu's high-performance large-scale-integration (LSI) processes.
