Larry Larson Joins Board of Tahoe RF Semiconductor

Tahoe RF Semiconductor (Auburn, CA), a provider of full service RFIC development services from front-end system design and architecture to back-end device tapeout, has announced the appointment of Professor Larry Larson to the company's Board of Directors. The company was formed in 2002 from a team of engineers and engineering managers formerly with the Microelectronics Wireless Div. of IBM. Larson, who is a Professor at the University of California, San Diego, and a technical advisor and board member of several key companies in the industry, is widely recognized as a world expert in RFIC development. Irshad Rasheed, President of Tahoe RF Semiconductor, notes, "With his broad academia and industry background, Larry will be able to provide key guidance and support to our company as the premier design services company for all advanced RFIC designs." Larson himself adds, "I am very happy to be part of this highly technically advanced design team. My position on the Tahoe RF Board is a welcome continuation of our work started at IBM."
