Freescale brought a variety of semiconductor devices to the 2013 IMS, including RF power products for land-mobile radio, for industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) applications, and for broadcast systems.
Freescale Semiconductors model AFTO9MS007N LDMOS transistor was one of the company’s many high-power transistors on display at the 2013 IMS, with better than 7 W output power from 136 to 941 MHz.
For optimum performance, Freescale Semiconductors demonstrated its model AFTO9MS007N LDMOS transistor at the 2013 IMS matched on a demonstration circuit for use from 450 to 520 MHz.
At the 2013 IMS, Freescale Semiconductor showed a number of devices for aerospace and military applications, including its model MRFE6VP100H, an LDMOS transistor designed to deliver 100 W output power from 1.8 to 2000 MHz when operating from +50 VDC.
Freescale Semiconductor showed many high-power transistors at the 2013 IMS, including its MRFE6VP6K25, a silicon LDMOS device with more than 1250 W CW output power from 1.8 to 600 MHz.
Among its many power transistors on display at the 2013 IMS, Freescale Semiconductor offered its MRF8P29300H silicon LDMOS device for S-band radar applications, achieving 320 W peak output power from 2.7 to 2.9 GHz with better than 50% drain efficiency.
To show real output-power levels, Freescale Semiconductor had test fixtures and test equipment connected to some of its high-power devices, inclugin its model MRFE6VP6K25, silicon LDMOS device with more than 1250 W CW output power from 1.8 to 600 MHz.
Among the many high-power devices on display in a test fixture, Freescale Semiconductor showed its model MMH3111 for use from 1900 to 2200 MHz at the 2013 IMS.
In addition to showing devices in test fixtures, Freescale Semiconductor brought complete Doherty amplifier circuits to the 2013 IMS, here a model MD71C2250N amplifier designed for use from 1805 to 2170 MHz an +28-VDC supplies.
To aid amplifier designers at the 2013 IMS, Freescale’s booth personnel offered design advice, including based on the use of ADAM circuit software.
Freescale showcased and demonstrated their latest products at the International Microwave Symposium 2013 in Seattle, WA.
