I talked with ACEINNA's Teoman Ustun about the importance of combining GNSS RTK with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) to provide precision positioning information regardless of location. We also discussed the company's new INS401 precision measurement unit (see figure)

The INS401 targets applications where location is needed regardless of availability of GPS signals, such as L2+ and higher-performance advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). It is certified to ASIL-B level according to ISO 26262.
