Agilent Allies With Computer Simulation Technology

Agilent Technologies and Computer Simulation Technology (CST) announced an exclusive alliance to support each other's computer-aided-engineering (CAE) tools. The announcement, made at the recent Microwave Theory & Techniques Symposium (MTT-S) in Fort Worth, TX, increased the integration of Agilent's widely used Advanced Design System (ADS) suite of software tools with CST's Microwave Studio three-dimensional electromagnetic (EM) analysis software tools. The companies now offer a first-level integration of the tools that allows RF and microwave engineers to export design layouts directly to CST's Microwave Office for full three-dimensional EM design and verification. Agilent's ADS suite of software tools also includes Momentum, a planar EM analysis tool.
