Agilent Integrates EM Simulator Into Genesys

Agilent Technologies announced that Momentum GX, a three-dimensional (3D) planar electromagnetic (EM) simulator, has been fully integrated into the former Eagleware-Elanix Genesys modeling platform, now known as Agilent Genesys. The new platform combines integrated linear, layout, harmonic balance, SPICE, RF system simulation, and 3D-planar EM simulation into a single low-cost environment. Momentum GX is well suited for characterizing passive circuit structures and components. It can handle multilayer structures and includes the effects of coupling and parasitic elements. The full-wave EM solver provides accurate simulation of open-boundary problems, can simulate structures with novel, arbitrary shapes, and is capable of full dispersion and radiation simulation.
