Agilent Technologies has launched the PNA-X vector network analyzer (VNA) with a single-connection solution for two-tone and swept local-oscillator (LO) measurements from 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz. The VNA features an integrated second signal source and signal-combining network. The two internal signal sources provide +16 dBm output power with low harmonic distortion of -59 dBc and power-sweep range of 40 dB. The analyzer has a built-in pulse modulator for performing pulsed S-parameter measurements as well as full characterization of amplifier intermodulation, harmonic distortion, and compression.
