Industry group the WiMAX Forum has selected Rohde & Schwarz and the TS8970 tester for radio comformance testing (RCT) according to the IEEE 802.16e mobile WiMAX standard. The TS8970 was picked as a reference solution for the certification of WiMAX end products being manufactured in line with the 802.16e-2005 specification.
