Hugo Morales
Hugo Morales is the VP of Engineering at Modelithics, Inc. Tampa FL. He has been with Modelithics since 2006, leading and managing projects while supporting microwave/mm-wave linear and non-linear measurements, and modeling of passive, test fixture and active microwave components. In 2015, he received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, with primary focus in simulation-based power amplifier design using Modelithics Qorvo GaN Library software models. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2002 with senior design involving microstrip filters, and PCB design and fabrication for flexible and mm-wave applications.
He previously worked as a Research Engineer at the Center for Ocean Technology, USF College of Marine Science in the area of wireless communications and remote sensing from 2003-2006. He has authored and co-authored several technical papers on RF and microwave measurements, modeling of passive structures and circuit design, and has given multiple conference presentations over the years.
