More Info on KVG Quartz Crystal Technology GmbH
Today’s company KVG Quartz Crystal Technology GmbH was founded shortly after the Second World War by the physicist Kurt Klingsporn and initially traded as “Kristallverarbeitungsgesellschaft Neckarbischofsheim GmbH”. In the early years, the still young company mainly produced oscillating quartz crystals made of natural quartz, later they switched to higher-quality synthetic quartz material. As part of the expansion of business operations, the company Quartz Ceramics in Stockdorf/Munich, which is known worldwide for OCXOs and precision quartzes, was taken over in 1997.
In 2002, Manfred Klimm took over KVG and has been running it since then under the name “KVG Quartz Crystal Technology GmbH”. To ensure KVG’s global technology leadership, the product range has been continuously developed and adapted to market requirements. The latest developments in the field of thermostated OCXOs – e.g. low G-Sensitivity (LGS) – and the expansion of the product range of high-frequency oscillators to include TCXOs and OCXOs pave the way for KVG to continue as one of the high-end technology leaders in the field of FCPs frequency control products – crystals , filters and crystal oscillators.
Even today, the headquarters of the company KVG with currently 50 employees is at the headquarters in Neckarbischofsheim.
