BoontonHas been awarded a five-year supply agreement by Warner Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. The agreement is for Boonton's 4542 high-performance RF power analyzers, which are used to service and maintain radar and control systems for the Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). In addition, Boonton has received an increase of $1.5 million to its contract with the US Navy. The total contract, which is worth approximately $3 million, is for the company's 4500B RF peak power meter.
HughesHas received an extension contract from the US Department of Defense (DoD) for its current study of commercial-communications-satellite (COCOMSAT) systems capabilities. The extension calls for analyzing enterprise tradeoffs between modems and teleports, satellite-communication payloads, terminal constraints, performance, and operations and mission planning.
General DynamicsHas been awarded a contract by the Global Broadcast Service (GBS) Joint Program Office at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. The agreement calls for the production of approximately 1500 Transportable Ground Receive Suites (TGRSs) and 1110 retrofit kits. It has a total potential value of $900 million if the maximum number of units is ordered.
