Agilent Technologies, Inc. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, NetworkFab, has been awarded a five-year, $45 million Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase III Contract with the US Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center's Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (Fort Monmouth, NJ). The contract is for wideband sensor systems with hyperfast direction finding (DF) and integrated signal intelligence (SIGINT) search, identification, and collection of tactical targets.

Ron Nersesian, Vice-President and General Manager of Agilent's Wireless Business Unit, explained: "Agilent is very proud to be supporting the US Army and the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate at Fort Monmouth.
