Model SFS6400A-LF is a C-band frequency synthesizer from Z-Communications designed for operation at 6.4 GHz. It delivers +6 dBm output power with a voltage-controlled-oscillator (VCO) supply of 40 mA and +5 VDC. It runs with phase-lock-loop (PLL) voltage of +3 VDC and 11 mA typical current. Spurious content is controlled to -65 dBc and harmonics to -20 dBc while phase noise is typically -88 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier. The frequency synthesizer is supplied in the firm's PLL-V-12N package measuring 0.60 x 0.60 x 0.13 in. It is available in tape-and-reel packaging for automated assembly production.
